Jeremy and Steph called us when they were looking to buy their first home: an outdated Vancouver Special in a fantastic neighbourhood. We toured the home with them, listened to what they were looking for, and provided them with a detailed proposal outlining what their renovation process would look like.
Design
After they received the proposal, there were a few follow up meetings to clarify the scope of work, and answer some questions about the process, costs and expectations. They purchased the home, and we immediately started on the design of their house. Once we had done a full Hazmat and mechanical assessment and review of municipal regulations, we worked on re-imagining what the space could look like.
Opening up and reconfiguring walls, the entire interior of the home was re-designed. Once the Architectural design was completed, we submitted for permit. While waiting for the permit, we transitioned to the interior design phase where every single product, finish, fixture and colour was reviewed, documented, selected and budgeted.
We had interviewed a number of design/build firms in Vancouver and made the decision of selecting Kenorah because of the outstanding people that work at the company. There are so many adjectives we can use to describe our experience, but the three that stood out were: communication, trust and craftsmanship. Without hesitation, we would recommend Kenorah to anyone! Hands down they're the best! Given the choice of doing it again, we would pick Kenorah to partner with - no questions asked!
