LEAD CARPENTER

Kenorah is one of BC’s most respected and long-standing custom builders and renovators, serving the greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley Region. At Kenorah, we specialize in providing a uniquely integrated design/build process for our clients with a 100% cost and schedule guarantee. Kenorah is currently looking for a full-time Lead Carpenter to join our team. We are looking for that special person who is hard working, passionate humble and resourceful. We have an amazing team, and believe in investing in the long term success of our staff. In fact, most of our construction team have been with us for the better part of a decade, or more!

We provide cell phone allowances, laptops, and consistent work.

Kenorah is currently looking for a full-time, permanent experienced carpenter to join our team. We are looking for that special person who is hard working, passionate humble and resourceful.

Job Description

Depending on experience, Lead carpenters work to coordinate, lead and direct the daily activities of our job sites along with the normal carpentry tasks of sites. Working in collaboration with our Project Managers, they are responsible to coordinate sub trades and carpenters on site, liaison with required engineers and inspectors, ensure health and safety, complete required carpentry tasks, and problem solve, as required.

This role will require the following responsibilities and requirements;

Must be a permanent resident of Canada
Versatile, enthusiastic, self-motivated and collaborative
A well versed understanding of local building codes and practices is an asset
Have familiarity with both renovations and new construction
Able to travel throughout lower mainland

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $65,000-$80,000 per year depending on experience
